Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Didact Arc (“Company”, we”, “us”, and our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://www.didactarc.dev (“Website”). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your choices.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, or provide information to the site owner.

Cookies set by the site owner (in this case, Didact Arc) are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by others are called “third-party cookies” and are typically set when you interact with an embedded service (for example, during checkout or sign-in).

Why do we use cookies?

We use only strictly necessary first-party cookies — those required for the site to function and for you to stay signed in. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.

A small number of third-party cookies may be set by services we integrate with (Stripe and Google), and only when you actively use those services (paying, or signing in with Google). We do not control those cookies; they are described below.

Cookies we set

These first-party cookies are strictly necessary. Without them, the site cannot keep you signed in or protect form submissions from forgery.

NamePurposeTypeExpires
authjs.session-token
(or __Secure-authjs.session-token over HTTPS)
Keeps you signed in after authenticationFirst-party, HTTP-only30 days
authjs.csrf-tokenProtects authentication forms from cross-site request forgeryFirst-party, HTTP-onlySession
authjs.callback-urlStores the page to return to after sign-inFirst-partySession

Third-party cookies

We do not embed third-party tracking or analytics cookies. The following third parties may set their own cookies on their own domains when you actively use their services:

  • Stripe(payment processing). When you upgrade to Pro, you are redirected to Stripe's checkout or billing portal at checkout.stripe.com / billing.stripe.com. Stripe sets cookies on those domains for fraud prevention and session management. See Stripe's cookie policy.
  • Google(sign-in only). If you choose “Sign in with Google”, you are briefly redirected to accounts.google.com, where Google sets its own cookies as part of its OAuth flow. See Google's privacy & terms.

These cookies are not set unless you choose to use those services.

How can I control cookies?

Because Didact Arc uses only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner or cookie preference center is provided — the cookies listed above are required for the site to work.

You can still control or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of the site and prevent you from signing back in. Browser-specific instructions:

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page periodically. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.

Where can I get further information?
